Please read these terms and conditions carefully before participating in the 50-50 Raffle (Game 24A) to ensure you fully understand your obligations and the rules of participation. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Raffle Duration and Ticket Information
The 50-50 Raffle commences on 4 April 2024 and concludes at midnight AEDT on 26 June 2024. The draw will take place at 2:30 pm AEDT on 28 June 2024. A total of 2,000 tickets are available, each priced at AUD$10. Tickets can only be purchased online.
Eligibility
Participation is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over, with the exception of residents in SA, WA, ACT, or NT. Participants affirm their eligibility by purchasing tickets, and those in Victoria acknowledge that any cash prize will be awarded in the form of gold bullion in accordance with ABC Bullion standards due to state legislation.
Geographical Restrictions
Tickets are available for purchase by residents in NSW, VIC, TAS and QLD only. No ticket sales are permitted outside of Australia or in SA,WA, ACT, or NT.
Drawing of the Raffle
The 50/50 Raffle is a game of chance, with winners determined through a random number generator to ensure fairness and impartiality. The prize awarded will amount to 50% of the total funds raised through the sale of raffle tickets for this specific draw.
Notification of Winners
Winners will be contacted via email or phone (if provided) within 24 hours of the draw. Details of winning tickets will also be published on the Past Winners page on our website. Prize distribution may require several business days to process.
Prizes
Prizes awarded are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where specified. Images used in promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only and may not accurately represent the actual prize.
Responsibility for Additional Charges
Winners are solely responsible for any government charges, taxes, or other expenses not explicitly included in the prize description.
Payment Processing
Ticket purchases are processed through a secure payment gateway on behalf of Seeing Eye Dogs. This gateway securely stores personal information provided during the purchase process (excluding credit card details, unless consent is given to store this information).
Technical Difficulties
Seeing Eye Dogs does not accept responsibility for any technical issues that may prevent the issuance or processing of tickets.
Ticket Retention
Purchasers should retain their tickets as proof of participation in the raffle.
By participating in the 50/50 Raffle, entrants agree to these terms and conditions, which are governed by the laws applicable in the state or territory of purchase.
